As the shooting season gets underway, we’re one of the few places in Henley that are going to have grouse on the menu! Once they arrive, we’ll be serving them with runner beans, chipolata, bread sauce and blackberries – delicious.
Steak nights
Meanwhile, Mondays and Tuesdays are steak nights, where if you order two steaks, you’ll get a complimentary bottle of wine to go with your meal. Get in!
A wee dram
We think a glass of Scotland’s finest single malt rounds off a steak dinner perfectly. We only work with the best so we’re delighted to have teamed up with Macallan. The brand is celebrating its 200th anniversary this year, so more reason to raise a glass.
Flying fish
Not in the mood for steak or game? We’ve also got some beautiful fish from Flying Fish Seafoods, a supplier to some of the best restaurants in the country. Their ‘from ship to plate in 48’ promise ensures you’re always eating the best and freshest we can get our hands on.
Still summer
Summer may be coming to an end (did it start?), but we’ll be serving some warm weather dishes and our lovely courtyard will remain open while the sun is still shining.
Celebrate our first Christmas
And if you’re already looking forward to Christmas, great news – we’re now taking bookings for the festive period and will be open on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
Of course we’ll be serving up classic Christmas staples such as mince pies and turkey dinner, or why not try our braised Hereford beef cheeks with mashed potato? We’ll also be putting on a special festive afternoon tea with a classic Yule log, mincemeat tart, and a turkey and cranberry wrap.
